Happy Friday everyone! I’m still on the mend from my food allergy attack, but I’m feeling a little better today. Thank you all for your well wishes!

Today, I want to share a fascinating video with you about the science of happiness.  I really enjoyed this video and learned a lot from it, and I hope you will, too. It’s a TEDTalk called, “The Surprising Science of Happiness” by Dan Gilbert, author of the book, Stumbling on Happiness. In this video, Dan challenges the idea that we’ll be miserable if we don’t get what we want in life and suggests that we can feel truly happy with “synthetic happiness” even when things don’t go as planned.
